Two teenage girls including one studying at a coaching institute for medical examination allegedly committed suicide at different places in the city today, police said.
18-year-old Anjali Anand of Muradabad in Uttar Pradesh committed suicide in her rented hostel room in Rajiv Gandhi Nagar by hanging self from the ceiling fan, they said.
According to the deceased's parents, she took the extreme step due to tension about studies, police said.

Another 16-year-old Harshdeep Kaur, a student of class XI, committed suicide by using "crape bandage" in neck at Jaishree Vihar area, they said.
The body was handed over to her parents after post-mortem. She left a suicide note in which she mentioned study tension as a major reason, they added.
