The police today recovered arms and ammunition from two criminals and arrested them following an encounter in Bihar's Lakhisarai district.
Two other criminals were also injured in the encounter that happened at Jaidpur village in riverine area under the jurisdiction of Barahiya police station of the district, police said.
The criminals fired around 20 rounds at the police and in retaliation the police personnel fired around 25 rounds at them, Superintendent of Police Arvind Thakur said.

While the injured criminals managed to escape from the spot, two others have been arrested, the SP said.
A carbine, a 315 bore rifle, two country-made pistols, two magazines of AK 47 rifles, 47 cartridges and three mobile phones were seized from their possession, he said.
