Two senior IPS officers in Punjab were shifted with immediate effect on Thursday, officials said.
IPS officer Iqbal Preet Singh Sahota, who was handling the charge of Additional Director General of Police (Prisons) has been posted as ADGP (Railways), an official spokesman said.
Another IPS officer, Rohit Choudhary, has been given the charge of ADGP (Prisons) , the spokesman said .
