Two kids drown while playing

Two kids died today after they drowned in a pond while playing in the Joygopalpur village in the Sandeshkhali area of North 24 Parganas district, the police said.

Madhumita Munda (4) and Tuki Sardar (3) drowned after they slipped and fell into the deep waters of the village pond while playing, the police said adding, the bodies have been recovered.
