Two persons were killed and five others injured when a van they were travelling in overturned today near Jhampra in Odisha's Balasore district, a police officer said.
All seven of them were returning to Balasore after unloading fish seeds at a prawn firm near Chandipur when the van skidded off the road and turned turtle, he said.
Two of them died on the spot while five others, who sustained injuries, were admitted to Balasore district headquarters hospital, they said.
The deceased were identified as Govind Hansda (28) and Nala Murmu (27), he added.
