Two killed in accident in Moga

Two persons were killed and three injured when two trucks collided head on Moga-Ludhiana National Highway, police said.

A truck loaded with plywood rammed into another carrying cattle near Matwani village on the national highway yesterday, they said.

The drivers of both the vehicles identified as Harjinder Singh and Chamkeela were killed on the spot while three others have sustained injuries in the accident.

The injured persons are being treated at Moga Civil hospital.
