Two killed in clash in Shahjahanpur

Two persons were killed in a firing incident today between two parties in Shahjahanpur district, the Home Department said.

A tea-stall owner, Sudhir Kumar and Tasaduq, who runs a wood shop, neighbouring Kumar's stall, had a dispute over some issue last night in Ramkrishna Mission area, it said.

The dispute later this morning turned into a clash, in which both sides opened fire, during which Sudhir and his cousin Dilip were killed, it said.

The department said that one person from Tasaduq's side also sustained a bullet injury and has been admitted to a hospital in Bareilly.
