Two killed in tea shop collapse

Two persons, including a bank manager, were killed while two others seriously injured when a tea shop collapsed here today.

The tea-shop was an old one with very thick walls. They suddenly collapsed over some people who were sipping tea. Four persons came under the debris of whom two succumbed while being taken to hospital, police said.

The deceased have been identified as Shambu Prasad Sinha (59) manager of a Grameen Bank and Mohammad Ismail (75), a retired mechanic.

The two injured were hospitalised where their condition was stated to be serious.
