Two killed, three injured as car rams against electric pole

Two persons, including a woman, were killed and three others injured when their car rammed against an electric pole near Sulur on the outskirts, in the wee hours of today, police said.

The victims, identified as Saraswati (50) and Jagadish (38) died while they were being taken to the hospital.

The injured, Madhumathi (30) wife of Jagadish, their daughter Sansa (2) and 58-year old Velmurugan are being treated at the hospital, police said.
