Two militants killed in gunfight with army

Two unidentified militants were killed in a gunbattle with army in Kupwara district in Kashmir today, an army spokesman said.

Two militants were killed in an army operation at Furkian Gali in Kupwara, he said.

The identity and group affliliation of the slain militants were being ascertained, the spokesman said.

The army operation in the area was still on, he said.
