Local fishermen today fished out the body of one of the two minor boys, who had gone missing while bathing late on Sunday evening at Gadagadia ghat of river Mahanadi here.
Police said local residents found the body of one Dushmant Behera (15) of Badamba area floating in the river. Dushmant and his friend Abhi Rout of the city had gone to the river to bathe in the evening and apparently were trapped in the quick sand and went missing.
A frantic search made by the police and the fire brigade personnel for the two minor boys on late Sunday evening had proved futile.
