Two murder accused escape from Bellary jail

Two accused men in murder cases today escaped from the jail here in the early hours of today, a senior police official said.

The inmates used towel, bedsheet and lungi to scale the wall and escape, Bellary District Superintendent of Police Chetansingh Rathore said.

Two jail personnel on duty have been suspended for the lapse, police said, adding, a team has been formed to nab them.
