Two naxals held in Chg with tiffin bomb

Two naxals, including a woman, were today arrested and an 18-kg bomb was recovered from them in Chhattisgarh's insurgency-hit district, police said.

"The cadres, identified as Ramdhar Sori (20) and Parvati Korram (20), were picked up from the forests of under station limits when a joint team of security forces was out on a search operation," of Police told PTI.

Personnel of the (ITBP), (STF) and district force were involved in the operation, he said.

A bomb weighed 18 kg, an and Maoist banners and literature were recovered from the possession of the duo, the ASP said.

"During interrogation, the two revealed that the explosive was mean to harm security forces involved in providing security to the road construction work in the area," he said.
