Two NBFCs - Jubilant Capital Private and Lexicon Commercial Enterprises - have surrendered the Certificate of Registration granted to them by the RBI.

Stating this, the Reserve Bank said their registrations stand cancelled and the NBFCs cannot transact the business of a non-banking financial institution.

In another statement, the central bank said it has cancelled certificate of registration of six other non-banking financial companies (NBFCs), including Gyanijay Tradecomm, Accurate Tracon and Navneet Vinimay.

The other three NBFCs whose registration has been cancelled are: Rahul Fintrade, S A Mercantile Commercial and Brindaban Holdings and Trading.

The RBI did not provide further details.

The central bank also said it has withdrawn the "All Inclusive Directions" issued in May 2012 to 'Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Nagari Sahakari Bank Maryadit, Aurangabad, Maharashtra' with effect from the close of business as on May 02, 2016.

"The bank will continue to undertake regular banking business hereafter," the RBI said.
