Two teenage NDFB (Sanjibit)
militants were nabbed with a grenade at Chandanpur, under the Barpeta Road outpost in Barpeta district today, police said.
During an operation led by district additional SP Sushanta Biswa Sarma, apprehended the two insurgents identified as Dalong Basumatary alias Babu Bodo and Bousan Daimary, they said.
The two boys were engaged by the NDFB for Rs 1000 only to throw a handmade bomb at Barpeta Road, the business hub of the district on March 3.
NDFB(S) has been compelling young boys to join the outfit in exchange of money and then using them in different activities.
