Two Nepalese held with opium worth Rs 50 lakh

Two Nepalese have been arrested with 4.45 kg opium by SSB personnel on Indo-Nepal border, official sources said today.

Rukum (31) and Manhari (63) were arrested yesterday by the SSB during checking when 4.45 kg opium was recovered from them, SSB Deputy Commandant P N Singh said.

The cost of the opium was stated to be Rs 50 lakh in the international market.
