Two Nepalese nationals arrested with contraband

Two Nepalese nationals were arrested after contraband was allegedly seized from their possession near the Indo-Nepal border here.

Acting on a tip-off, the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) nabbed drug peddler Jan Lama (26) and Vijai Khadka (24), both hailing from Sarlahi district in Nepal, with 9-kg charas, Commandant of the first battalion K S Bankhoti said.

According to an estimate the seized contraband was worth Rs 20 lakh in the international market.
