Two officials in ACB net for taking Rs 40,000 bribe

A health officer and a senior assistant working at District Medical and Health Office in neighbouring Ranga Reddy district were today arrested when they allegedly took Rs 40,000 as bribe, ACB said.

The duo was trapped when they demanded and accepted the bribe amount from a person for doing an official favour, an Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) release said.

They were later put under arrest, it added.
