Two persons were today arrested near here and 10 kg of venison seized from them, police said.
The two, who were travelling on a two-wheeler, were found carrying the meat in a sack.
On questioning, the duo told forest officials that they used to hunt deers in the Kalvarayan hills in Tamil Nadu and supply the venison to some hotels here, police said, adding, investigations are on to identify the hotels.
