Two persons injured in blast in Jammu

Two persons were injured in a blast in a house situated on the outskirts of Jammu city tonight, police said.

Low intensity explosives kept for fishing or hunting went off in a house in Sambal camp area of R S Pura here, DIG Jammu, Shakeel Beigh said.

Prima facie it appears that someone fiddled with the explosive, he said.

Two persons suffered minor injuries in their hands and were hospitalised, the police official said, adding the matter was being probed.
