Two persons killed, 15 others injured in road accidents

An unidentified person was killed and seven other injured when an auto rickshaw carrying them overturned on the Mahatma Gandhi bridge, police said.

In a related incident, a cylist was killed when he was run over by a speeding truck near a petrol pump under Lalganj police station area, they said.

In another road accident, eight persons sustained injuries when an auto rickshaw in which they were travelling lost control and overturned in Jarhua bazar, police said, adding that the bodies have been sent for post-mortem and the injured admitted to hospitals for treatment.
