Two police officials were suspended here on Monday after a video went viral wherein they were seen gyrating in uniform at separate places alongside the professional dancers.
According to Superintendent of Police, Begusarai, Avakash Kumar, the suspended officials are sub-inspector Pramod Kumar Ram and ASI Gore Lal posted at Bachhwara and Chandpura police stations respectively.
"The video footage showed the two officials dancing, while donning their uniforms, at functions held on the occasion of Dussehra in their respective police station areas. We have taken serious note of this act of indiscipline and they have been suspended", the SP added.
