Two policemen killed during vehicle checking

Two policemen were crushed to death by a pick-up van during vehicle checking near Kargahar police station in Bihar's Rohtas district, police said today.

The incident took place when a police patrol was checking vehicles for security purposes last night, Superintendent of Police Vikash Barman said.

Both the policemen died on the spot.

They were identified as Rameshwar Pandey (45) Santosh Soren (39).
