Two police sub inspectors (PSI) have been suspended for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000 here, police said today.

The suspended policemen- Gajendra Dhakad and Sunil Verma- were both posted at the Jawar police station in the district.

The duo had demanded Rs 50,000 from one Jitendra Goswami in connection with a case. However, he arranged a sting operation and recorded the duo accepting the bribe on his camera a few days back.

The district superintendent of police, Dr Raman Singh Sikarwar issued a suspension order of two policemen and registered cases against them.
