Two school students drown off Cuddalore beach

Two government school students drowned while bathing in the sea here, today, police said.

The incident occurred when the teenagers had gone to the beach after attending a Republic day function in their school here this morning, they said.

A strong current pulled the duo deep into the waters and their bodies were washed ashore a few hours later.

A case has been registered and investigation is on, they added.
