Two sentenced for raping teenager

Two persons have been sentenced to rigorous imprisonment for 20 years by a court here for raping a minor girl in 2003.

Judge Rajneesh Kumar on Saturday also imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 on each of the convicts.

The victim, a 15 year-old girl, had gone to the fields in the evening of April 11, 2003 when the convicts Rashid and Anees took her toa secluded place and raped her.

The family members of the girl found her in the fields the next day.
