Two sentenced in gangrape case

A fast track court today sentenced two persons to 20 years imprisonment for abducting and gangraping a girl here.

Fast Track Court Judge Manoj Kumar also imposed a fine of Rs 40,000 on the convict Hitesh and Ankur after holding them guilty.

According to government lawyer Naresh Sharma, the 14-year-old girl was gangraped when she was going to her school at Kakroli in the district on November 4, 2008.

A juvenile court is hearing the case against the remaining three accused.
