Two sentenced to 10 years in jail for abduction

Two persons have been sentenced to 10 years imprisonment by a local court for abducting a man.

Additional District Sessions Judge Gaurav Shrivastava yesterday also slapped a fine of Rs 10,000 each on the two convicts Sachin and Bablu, according to the prosecution.

22-year-old Raju was abducted by the two at Baseda village in the district on August 24, 2008 over old enmity.

Ramkishan, the victim's father, had lodged complaint against the two accused in this connection.
