Two sentenced to 10 yrs RI for raping minor

A local court awarded 10 years rigorous imprisonment to two persons in a gang-rape case.

Additional Sessions Judge Arun Kumar Pathak held Deen Mohammad and Kunni guilty of raping the minor on Feb 13, 2011 in Mohammadpur Khala area and pronounced the verdict on the duo yesterday, prosecution sources said.

The court also imposed a fine of Rs 6,000 on each of the convicts.
