Two students of a local school were drowned in a reservoir at Kansbahal near here today while another boy was undergoing treatment after being rescued from the water body.
Seven 9th standard students had been to the dam site for picnic and the mishap took place when they were taking bath in the reservoir, police said.
Inspector In-Charge of Rajgangpur police station, Manas Pradhan said the deceased were identified as Bisal Gupta and Abhishek Sahoo, while another boy Adarsh Singh was rescued by locals from the reservoir.
Adarsh has been admitted to Ispat General Hospital here for treatment, he said.
