Two students were injured in police firing during an agitation against body search of women students by male policemen at an exam centre in southern Nepal, police said today.
The incident occured yesterday at Dhawauli Secondary School in Dhanusha district during the ongoing School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examinations.
The students have been referred to Dharan for further treatment, the police said.

The agitating students have accused the police of using force when they protested against the search.
The police, on the other hand, contended that the students protested after they were not allowed to cheat in the examinations.
SLC exams at three centres were disrupted due the protests, according to the police.
Altogether 566,085 students across Nepal are taking part in the SLC examinations that stared Thursday last.
