Two software engineers were killed and as many seriously injured in a road accident near here this morning, police said.
The mishap took place the when four, working in an IT firm, Quintals Fanco, were going to Kadapa in a car to attend a wedding. Their vehicle was hit by a lorry near the RTO, just a few kilometre away from the town, they said.
Two of them, identified as Prateek and Amrut (both aged 25), died on the spot, while their friends Raviteja and Santosh were seriously injured, police said.
The injured were sent to Rajeev Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences in Kadapa, they said, adding a case has been registered in this regard and investigation is on.
