Two women were charred to death and as many persons injured when a fire broke out in a power plant of Binani Cement Factory in Pindwara police station area of Sirohi district today.
Khetu Kumari (23) and Saria Bai (22) died on the spot whereas two other injured were rushed to a hospital in Udaipur for treatment.
Villagers staged a protest and sought compensation.

Following assurances from the district administration, the protest was called-off, SP Sirohi Om Prakash said.
He said that action will be taken following detailed investigation into the matter.
The bodies were handed over to the family members after post-mortem.
