Two women were today mowed down by a private bus at Sadulshahar in Hanumangarh district.
The duo was walking along the road when the bus, going to Hanumangarh from Abohar, mowed them down, police said, adding, both died on spot.
Sarswati Devi (56) and Lajwanti (46) - were hit by the bus from behind, they said.
The bodies have been handed over to their relatives after post mortem, police said, adding, the bus has been impounded but its driver managed to escape.
