Two women dies in house collapse

Two women members of a family have died killed and as many suffered serious injuries when their mud house collapsed at Sanagara village in this district, police said today.

Fula Swain (55) and Ashalata Swain (35) died on the spot when the house collapsed while they were watching TV in the house yesterday.

Their relatives Santilata Swain (42) and Satyajit Swain (10) were seriously injured and admitted to the SCB medical college and hospital, a police officer said.

Bodies of the two deceased were retrieved by locals, he said.
