Two youths were arrested for allegedly killing a man, who had failed to return Rs 15,000 he had borrowed from one of them, in outer Delhi's Sultanpuri area, police said today.
The two identified as Vishal (20) and Veer Singh (24), allegedly strangulated 40-year-old Ajay Tiwari and then stabbed him multiple times. Once he was dead, they cut his face several times to hide his identity, Additional DCP (Outer) Ghanshyam Bansal said today.
Tiwari's body was found by the police on August 25 morning, but he could be identified only on September 7, when his son approached the police.

When Tiwari's son provided further details to the police, they tracked his mobile phone and found that in possession of a Gurgaon resident. When the police approached him, it emerged that he had purchased the phone from Vishal, said Bansal.
During questioning, Vishal confessed that he - along with his associate, Veer Singh - had killed Tiwari, for the latter had borrowed Rs 15,000 from him and did not return despite being reminded several times.
The accused have been arrested under Section 302 (murder) of IPC and the police have recovered the weapons of offence, Bansal added.
