Two youths arrested in connection with murder of former SPO

Senior Superintendent of Police Akhilesh Kumar Jha told newsmen that Ritesh Kumar Singh, a resident of Potka and Jadugora-based Sukhdev Gope were in need of money to visit Delhi in search of employment.

They came across a former SPO Murmu, who was travelling on his new motorcycle, Jha said adding that the accused wanted to loot him but indulged in an altercation.

An enraged duo hit Murmu with an iron-rod, injuring him fatally, the SSP said.
