"The McCarthys" star Tyler Ritter is the latest newcomer to join "Arrow" fifth season.
Tyler - son of the late John Ritter and Nancy Morgan - has been cast as the Star City Police Department's newest detective Malone, reported Digital Spy.
Detective Malone will be seen in a recurring capacity throughout Arrow's upcoming run of episodes.
Tyler is set to share the screen with a spate of newcomers on "Arrow" this fall.
"Sirens" star Josh Segarra and "Reaper" star Rick Gonzalez will deal their own brand of justice as new Star City vigilantes - while "The Walking Dead" star Chad Coleman takes a villainous turn as Tobias Church.
