Udham Singh Nagar DM distributes blankets to needy

In a drive to provide relief to people from the cold, Udham Singh Nagar District Magistrate distributed blankets among the poor and homeless.

District Magistrate Pankaj Kumar Pandey last midnight distributed the blankets to everyone he found sleeping in the open in various colonies here.

Chief Minister Harish Rawat had recently asked all DMs to ensure that not a single person dies of cold in their area.

Pandey said the campaign will continue.
