ULFA (Pro-Talk) Chairman Arabinda Rajkhowa today threatened to abandon the peace process and take an "alternative path" if the Centre failed to resolve their problems by November 30.
"The BJP government at the Centre is quite apathetic to the demands raised by the pro-talk faction of the ULFA," Rajkhowa told reporters after an emergency meeting of the organisation at Jagiroad near here.
He said that it was decided to set the deadline of November 30 for the Centre and if by then "it fails to evolve a well-accepted policy to solve Assam's insurgency problem, ULFA (Pro-talk) will be forced to take the alternative path by leaving the peace talk process.
