Unclaimed suitcase found near Mahabodhi temple

An unclaimed suitcase outside the world famous Mahabodhi temple complex in Bihar's Bodh Gaya town triggered panic in the area.

Some people found an unclaimed suitcase lying near the Bodh Gaya Temple Management Committee building located in the Mahabodhi temple complex and informed the police about it, Deputy Superintendent of Police Satish Kumar said.

A bomb disposal squad of the CRPF rushed to the spot, but nothing was found in it, he said.

Last year in July, the temple was the site of serial explosions which left two monks injured.
