A 26-year-old youth was allegedly killed by his uncle and his cousin over land dispute at Thana Bhawan area in Shamli district, police said today.
The victim, Vikas, had gone to his fields where his uncle Mangey Ram and his cousin Bharat Bhushan allegedly attacked him with a spade yesterday, police said, adding that he died on the spot.
According to police, the reason behind the killing was land dispute.
Father of the deceased, Satish Kumar, had filed an FIR against his brother and his nephew, who are absconding, they said, adding a search was to nab them.
