Uncle kills nephew

A 22-year-old man was killed by his maternal uncle at Kachre bustee here, police said today.

The accused Tempo Pingua, who was recently released from jail, in an inebriated state hit his nephew Abhisekh, who was sleeping along side him with a large stone killing him last night, the police said.

An enmity allegedly over gambling was stated to be the cause behind the incident.

Police has recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem while the accused was reported at large.

Pingua had been to jail in connection with a criminal offence and was released recently.
