Under-trial prisoner dies in Odisha

An under-trial prisoner died at a hospital in Kendrapara district, police said Thursday.

The deceased, lodged in Kendrapara district jail, complained of chest pain on Wednesday night and was rushed to the district headquarters hospital where he died, they said.

The UTP, identified as Dhiren Behera (40), was facing trial in a case of rape, police added.
