Undertrial dies in hospital

An undertrial prisoner died while undergoing treatment at a government hospital at Meerut, police said today.

Yogesh (45), a resident of Sisauli village in the district, who was admitted at the Meerut hospital, died yesterday, District Jail Jailor Mizazilal said.

Yogesh was arrested in a loot case in 2012.

A magisterial probe has been ordered into the death of the deceased, he said.
