Undertrial dies of heart attack in Moga

A 55-year-old undertrial lodged in Moga jail here allegedly died today after suffering cardiac arrest while taking a bath in the prison premises, police said.

Chanan Singh was arrested under Punjab Excise Act and had been in judicial custody since April 14.

A local court has ordered an inquiry into the death of Singh, police said.
