Undertrial escapes from Dausa district jail

An undertrial today escaped from the Dausa district jail when he went outside the jail premises to throw garbage, police said.
Rajesh (24), a rape accused lodged in the jail since 2010, was assigned the work of cleaning inside the jail, SP (Dausa) Dileep Kumar said.
The incident took place when Rajesh went outside the prison premises to dump the trash. The accused pushed the jail guard and managed to escape, he said.
"Teams have been dispatched to different locations to trace the accused," Kumar said.
