Union Finance Secretary releases Re 1 notes

Union Finance Secretary Rajiv Mahrishi has released new Re 1 notes at Srinathiji temple in Nathdwara after offering prayers, a temple spokesman said.

A bundle of new notes of Re 1 denomination was presented at the feet of Srinathji by Mahrishi who arrived here on March 6 with his wife Meera Mahrishi, a retired IAS officer, Sudhakar Shashtri, Krishna Bhandar in-charge said today.

The secretary also signed on a one-rupee note along with the bundle of 100 notes.
