Union Minister for Civil Aviation P Ashok Gajapathi Raju today inaugurated the digital classrooms developed with Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) at Gotlam village in Bondapalli mandal of Vizianagaram district.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashok said these digital classes started for the first time in the district as a part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Digital India programme.
"These digital class rooms will help students a lot in improving their knowledge," he said adding that as many as 24 Zilla Parishad (ZP) and government schools will be provided digital classes as a pilot project with MPLADS in the district soon.

During his interaction with the student, Raju advised them to utilise digital classes to improve their academic performance.
Earlier in the day, the Union Minister also inaugurated a junior college building in the town.
