Union Minister for Civil Aviation P Ashok Gajapathi Raju was today sworn in as hereditary Trustee of Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Vari Devasthanam at Simhachalam near here.
The Minister later reviewed the development activities of the temple with District Collector N Yuvaraj and Endowment Department officials.
Raju succeeded his bother, Ananda Gajapathi Raju, who passed away recently.
The trustee is appointed from the family of P V G Raju, the last king of Vizianagaram.
